There's nothing quite like a good vest on the baseball diamond.⠀⁣ ⁣ Legendary head coach Hal Baird clearly loved the look of a vest. He outfitted his team in one nearly every year under his tenure. Baird coached at Auburn from 1985 to his retirement in 2000. Even without Baird in the dugout, his influence was still on the field. Auburn would wear vests through the 2004 season.⁣ ⁣ Under Baird, the Tigers' wardrobe would often feature white and grey vests to accompany the white and grey-sleeved jerseys. Auburn would typically wear a navy shirt underneath the vest but dabbled with orange shirts a few times in 1999.⁣ ⁣ Since 2004, Auburn has worn a vest for just one season - 2015. Sunny Golloway was another fan of vests and brought them with him from Oklahoma.
