‘Barbie 2’ is at risk of getting shelved, Variety reports. Warner Bros. has reportedly made more than six offers to Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling — all of which have been rejected. If a deal is not made in the next four months, the rights revert back to Mattel. Mattel would not be permitted to use Greta Gerwig’s foundation, and a new potential ‘Barbie’ franchise would have to be a reboot. #barbie #movies #popculture
