Next Thursday, some of the state’s most respected and influential voices are coming together to share their vision for saving Florida’s water. “Our Waters, Our Future” is a panel and roundtable discussion hosted by oceanconservancy on Thursday, June 8, from 6-9 pm at The Clearwater Marine Aquarium (cmaquarium). The entire event is free and open to the public (registration is required) and following the panel, guests can enjoy a reception with food and refreshments, as well as an opportunity to explore the aquarium. Our Waters, Our Future will feature five speakers with various areas of expertise as it pertains to Florida’s surrounding waterways. This roundtable discussion with local advocacy, science and policy experts will address the biggest issues facing Florida’s water quality, including red tide, harmful algae blooms, and sea level rise.
