Grand Teton taught us both something this trip. 🏔️ I want my daughter to know the mountains, the wild, the world that’s so much bigger than her — but I also want her to always know exactly where home is. That she can run toward every adventure because she knows I’m right behind her. That brave doesn’t mean fearless, it means acknowledging the fear and doing it anyway knowing you have somewhere safe to fall. So we hiked further than her little legs wanted to go. We got cold, we got dirty, we stood in front of something enormous and quiet and true. And every time she looked back to check if I was there — I was. One of my favorite parts of the trip?
