At first glance, it might look like an ordinary Boeing 777.
But behind the scenes, Emirates carried out an incredible transformation—converting a former passenger aircraft into a dedicated freighter.
Instead of sending the aircraft to retirement, engineers removed the passenger-focused interior and began rebuilding the aircraft around an entirely different mission: moving cargo around the world.
The seats, cabin fittings, galleys, and other passenger equipment are removed to create a much more practical cargo environment.
But turning a passenger aircraft into a freighter isn't simply a matter of taking out the seats.
The aircraft needs major structural and systems modifications.
