You’re nervous to do a Hyrox… but you really want to try one. Do it. Seriously. You’re probably thinking: “I’m not fit enough.” “I’m not a good runner.” “I’ve never pushed a sled.” “What if I can’t finish?” “I need to train more first.” Here’s what I want you to understand: You do not need to be an elite athlete to do Hyrox. Your first race doesn’t need to be about your time. It doesn’t need to be about beating anyone. It can simply be about proving to yourself that you can do something that scares you. Start training. Learn the stations. Build your running gradually. Get stronger. Find a Hyrox gym or community where you can practice. And give yourself permission to be a beginner.
