A celebration of life service and procession for Bonnie Tyler has been held in Swansea. The popular Welsh singer died "unexpectedly" on 8 July, aged 75, at a hospital in Portugal "as a result of the illness that she was being treated for". Tyler, born Gaynor Hopkins, was the first Welsh person to score a number-one hit in the US, with her 1983 song Total Eclipse of the Heart topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Fans across the globe arrived outside St Mary's Church ahead of the remembrance service.
