Recently, I’ve noticed myself comparing my life a lot more than I used to.
Before, I would compare myself to people around me—my classmates, my colleagues, people I actually knew. But ever since I started creating content, I somehow started comparing myself to people on the internet whom I don’t even know.
And honestly, it sucks. Because behind all those numbers, achievements, routines, and seemingly perfect lives, it’s so easy to forget that we’re only seeing a tiny part of someone else’s life. Yet somehow, we end up using it to measure our own.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that life isn’t just about achieving more, being more productive, or constantly moving forward. It’s okay to slow down. To breathe. To live a little. To appreciate how far you’ve already come.
Maybe we don’t always need to catch up. Maybe we just need to pause and realize that we’re doing okay. 🤍
