Early morning scenes 🌾 I attended universityphotographers symposium this past June for the first time and I left being inspired with goals to push myself as a creative. I grew up on a farm and showed dairy cows for 10+ years of my life. So, doing a project at the Penn State Dairy Barns has been a goal of mine but could never get my ideas down on paper. I found the perfect student, Ella, who let me follow her on her 5am-9am shift at the barns. This project was not just to spotlight Ella but rather giving people a closer look at the work behind Penn State agriculture. It doesn’t matter if you lived in a city or grew up in the ag community, there is multiple ways to get involved. Excited to take this type of storytelling and use it across campus as we start the fall semester.
