An NBA investigation found no evidence that Clippers owner Steve Ballmer used team sponsorship deals to secretly pay Kawhi Leonard extra money outside of his contract. The league was looking into whether the Clippers used sponsors to give Leonard additional compensation and get around NBA salary cap rules. But according to three people familiar with the investigation, officials found nothing to support those allegations.
