Feet turned out when you walk or stand? It could be your hip losing internal rotation, not your feet.
That inward turn, internal rotation, is the thigh bone rolling in toward the midline inside the hip socket. When a hip struggles to do that, the leg can drift out to compensate, and for a lot of people the knee and lower back quietly pick up the slack. That can be where the nagging ache comes from. It’s a common pattern, not the only cause, and it shows up in plenty of desk workers who never suspect the hip.
Try this:
1. Bodyweight squat, knees tracking straight over your toes, 3x10
2. Band-resisted split squat, pulling the thigh inward against the band, 2-3x8-10 each side
