I agree with sniper as always. Rings is a team award but MVP is for that dawg who outshined everyone single individual in the league. One player can’t win a ring. That’s a team effort. That MVP speaks for that one man! 👀💯 (SWIPE)

KD says winning an MVP can be more valuable individually than winning a championship because there’s only ONE MVP every season, while a championship is ultimately a team accomplishment. And when you really think about it, he’s not disrespecting rings at all — he’s saying there are way more things outside of one player’s control when it comes to winning a title.
To win MVP, you have to separate yourself from basically everybody in the league for an entire season. Your numbers, impact, consistency, availability and team success all have to come together. Only a select group of players in NBA history can ever say they were considered the best player of an entire regular season. 💯
