The other day, Nova looked at me in the middle of our workout and asked,
“Daddy, do you think I’m gonna be stronger than you someday?”
I told him, “Absolutely… if you stay consistent.” ‼️
The truth is, I played sports growing up, but I didn’t start taking fitness seriously until I was much older than he is now.
As his dad, I want him to understand that working out is about a lot more than building muscle.
It’s about building habits.
Physical health matters.
Mental health matters.
Education matters.
Learning how to communicate matters.
Learning how to work hard matters.
Learning how to believe in yourself matters.
I want him to understand that taking care of himself isn’t optional.
I want him to take school seriously.
I want him to build skills that will help him no matter what path he chooses in life.
And more than anything, I want him to grow into a good man.
As long as I’m here, I’m going to keep pushing him, encouraging him, and doing everything I can to help guide ...
