Portland’s famous mall walkers just debuted a new free outdoor event series. The foodcourt5000 held a special final walk at Lloyd Center on August 8, but founder Krista Catwood (vera_mysteria) is keeping the mall walking vibe alive with new outdoor events. The group just hosted a special walk at Laurelhurst Park. You still go at your own pace, and are free to lounge, stop, run up some legendary stairs, or watch some ducks at your leisure. The events are free and bring together tons of community members. More events will take place at parks, and destinations across Portland. Follow foodcourt5000 for those announcements.
