Three mountain rescues. One day. One important reminder. ⛰️ Today, Phoenix Fire crews responded to three separate incidents at Camelback Mountain and Piestewa Peak. One hiker was critically ill from extreme heat, with a core temperature over 104°F. Another became dizzy and needed help getting off the mountain. A third experienced chest pain near the summit and required an air rescue. Different emergencies. Same lesson: ☀️ Know the heat. 💧 Bring plenty of water. 🥾 Know the terrain and your limits. 🛑 If something feels wrong, turn around. #PHXFire
