I’m naturally a very forward-thinking person. I’m usually looking at what’s next, where I want to go, what I want to build, and how I can keep growing. But every now and then, I have to remind myself to stop and actually look at what’s already here. Around 10 years ago, I completely changed direction. I left my job, took a huge risk on myself, and started travelling on my own dime simply because I loved it and wanted to experience more of the world. I didn’t have the whole thing mapped out, but slowly that love of travel became a career, and then two businesses built around helping other people experience more of the world too. And that still sits at the heart of everything I do. I really believe travel changes us. It opens us up, introduces us to people and perspectives we may never have encountered otherwise, and makes us more curious, empathetic and understanding of the world around us.
