It's Mischpacha Monday, and while the rest of the school squeezed in one last day of summer, our newest Upper Division Tigers had campus all to themselves. 💙🐯 Starting middle school is a pretty big deal. New classrooms. New teachers. New routines. New lockers. So before the rest of the student body arrived, our 6th graders had the chance to settle in, get comfortable, and begin making the Upper Division feel like home. 💙 During lunch, Student Council joined them to share a meal, hand out welcome gifts, sing a few Shabbat songs, play some wonderfully silly games, and—most importantly—get to know the newest members of our Upper Division community. It's one of our favorite traditions because it perfectly captures what *mischpacha* means at DJDS: making sure everyone feels welcomed, included, and part of the community from day one. Welcome to Upper Division, 6th grade—we're so glad you're here! And to everyone else...we can't wait to welcome you back to campus tomorrow! #Mischpach...
