Breaking News: Today is my first day as a full-time Designer on the Social Media Team at ESPN, The Worldwide Leader in Sports! For the last ten weeks I have worked as an ESPN Social Media Intern, covering and creating for all things sports. I had the opportunity to lead coverage for WNBA games, and assist during the NBA Finals, The Stanley Cup, NBA Draft, NBA Free Agency, Wimbledon, MLB Home Run Derby, The ESPYS, and the retirements of women’s sports legends Allyson Felix, Sylvia Fowles, and Sue Bird! As one of ESPN’s biggest fans I have dreamed of working here since I was little. Yes I was that kid with the ESPN Zone merch, including a shirt that read “you can’t spell princess without ESPN!” I am so thankful that my education and experience as a student-athlete at @mcdanielcollege prepared me for the REAL WORLD!
