#DCStop10: AWARDS 2019 was a special year of recognition for DC SCORES! 🏆 This year we were recognized at the Mayor’s Arts Awards with the Award for Excellence in Arts Education and the DC Public Charter School Board Best Practice Award for Community Influence. Individual staff members were also acknowledged for their work with DC SCORES this year, including Chief Program Officer, Sean Hinkle, who was honored with the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition Community Leadership Award, and Director of Creative Arts and Education, Charity Joyce Blackwell, was the D.C. United finalist for the 2019 MLS Works Community MVP award.
