Sometimes the most Christlike lesson is as simple as saying, “You can play with us.” Teach children to notice the person standing alone. The child who seems different. The classmate no one invited. The new neighbor still learning where they belong. Inclusion is not always a grand gesture. It can look like making room, learning someone’s name, sharing a seat, or offering a hand. Children learn compassion by watching us practice it. They learn that every person bears God’s image: not just the people who look, speak, or act like them. “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” : Matthew 18:5 Let’s raise children who do more than avoid excluding others. Let’s raise children who actively welcome, defend, and love the lonely. And let’s remember: the Family of God should be the safest place to belong. Who might God be asking your family to notice and welcome today? #ChristianParenting #FaithInAction #ChristlikeLove #FamilyOfGod
