On a recent episode of The Drift, the weekly markets show hosted by thinkorswim and tastytrade founder Tom Sosnoff and trader Adam Mesh, longtime tastytrade co-host and CBOE veteran Tony Battista shared why he has no plans to sell his SanDisk Corporation ($SNDK) position, even after the stock has tumbled significantly from its highs. Battista opened by pointing to advice he received decades ago from his longtime financial advisor at JP Morgan. "I did this because of the person at JP Morgan, who's been my girl for since the early 80s, late 80s. She always told me that we have a different time horizon. And that's why I'm able to hold something that you would never hold." He then explained why that mindset has stayed with him. "I took that to heart when she said it, because wealth has been produced in this country because of buy and hold. I don't know if it's going to work into perpetuity or anything else like that.
