Most sales training stops right before the part that actually works.
Reps get the information. They get the pitch. They practice it in a room with other reps. Then they go into the field or get on the phone, and the training basically ends there. Whatever happens next, they figure out on their own.
The problem isn't the training content. It's that nobody is reviewing the real conversations.
If cold calling, discovery meetings, and presentations are the three moments that actually determine whether a rep can sell, those are also the three moments reps need feedback on, based on what they actually said, not a roleplay. A rep can nail a practice pitch and still fall apart the moment a real prospect pushes back. Without feedback on the real conversation, that gap never closes.
The reps who ramp fastest aren't the ones who got the best training material. They're the ones who got feedback on their actual calls, early and often, ideally in the first ten conversations.
