Sometimes it’s what ISN'T being said that gets my attention 😬👇 An IEP is more than a document filled with goals and accommodations... It should reflect a team that understands your child, knows what support they need, and has a clear plan for helping them access and participate in their education. At a very basic level, you deserve to understand what is being proposed, how it will be implemented, and how the team will know whether it’s actually working. But more importantly, you deserve to walk away feeling confident that the people responsible for supporting your child truly understand them, what their needs are, and how to help them thrive.
