When Anirudh Kheny entered the F&B industry in 2017, he thought he was 90% prepared. He had spoken to people, studied the industry, and believed he understood what he was getting into.
Then came 1Q1 Kitchen & Bar—a 10,000 sq. ft. Japanese-Peruvian restaurant.
In hindsight, Anirudh admits it was far too ambitious for a first-time restaurateur.
And the biggest reality check?
“I don't think I was even 10% ready.”
A powerful lesson in entrepreneurship: there's a massive difference between understanding a problem and actually experiencing it.
