The story of global wealth over the last three years is one of accelerating growth.
Global personal wealth rose by 10.8% in 2025 when measured in US dollars – more than double the pace seen in each of the previous two years.
EMEA led the way with 17.5% wealth growth, while the Americas continued to post solid gains (8.5%). Asia-Pacific grew more slowly (5.9%) but it remains a key global wealth powerhouse.
What drove the surge? Strong financial markets, rising non-financial wealth but also last year’s depreciation of US dollar: Since the rise in wealth outside the US is measured in US dollar terms, the euro, for instance, rose almost 9% against the dollar in 2025, which played a role in Europe’s impressive wealth growth.
