The Buffalo Bills have paid tribute to the late, great Tim Russert ’68 in the new Highmark Stadium.  Russert’s name is on a banner with two other big-time boosters of the Bills from the media – ESPN legend Chris Berman and longtime CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer – that is part of a display in the upper concourse.  As the longest-serving moderator of Meet the Press, Russert popularized “go Bills” on a national scale, as he often said it to close the show – dating back to the Bills’ Super Bowl runs in the 1990s.  An eclectic mix of banners by Oxford Pennant that hang above a concessions area include tributes to the Bills’ American Football League championships, famous team sayings and icons of Buffalo’s past like War Memorial Stadium and the Courier-Express newspaper.
