Meet adoptable Baked Potato, a 3 year old, 8 lb Poodle mix that hails from our friends at the ACC! Baked Potato came to us from the NYC municipal shelter, where he was extremely shut down and too scared to let anyone handle him. The shelter can be a loud and scary place for a lot of dogs. Once he left the shelter and had a chance to feel safe, his real personality came shining through: mild-mannered, sweet, gentle, and very easy to love. Now in foster care, Baked Potato is proving what a good little companion he is. He is housebroken, excellent on leash, good with other dogs, and will sit for a treat like the smart kiddo he is. He is happy to nap near his people, curl up in a lap when invited, or hang out independently in his bed or crate while his foster works. His favorite things include belly rubs, giving kisses, plush toys, squeaky toys, and making himself right at home. He even tolerated a bath and comb-out like a gentleman.
