After breakthrough performances @wser in 2025, international athletes @fipascall and @hauhatrailrunner have spent this season building momentum on opposite sides of the globe. Fiona returns to California after a 5th-place finish at Western States in 2025, securing automatic qualification for this year’s race. The British ultrarunner has already claimed victories at @runlakesonoma 100k and Hundred Hills 50k in 2026. Hau Ha is back for her second consecutive Western States after an impressive 6th-place finish last year. She opened her 2026 season with a runner-up finish at the @hk100ultra and is once again aiming for a place among the race’s top contenders.
