@ultra.ryan and @daniel.c.jones will each make their fourth @wser start this year, a testament to both their consistency and longevity at one of trail running’s most competitive races. Ryan brings a decade of ultrarunning experience and two previous top-10 finishes at Western States. After running a standout 2:27 marathon in London this spring, the Utah-based athlete enters the race in strong form. During Pride Month, Ryan also continues to be a visible voice for inclusion and representation as one of the top LGBTQ-identifying athletes in global trail running.  Based in New Zealand, Dan has established himself as one of the most consistent performers on the course, finishing in the top five in each of the last three editions. He opened 2026 with a victory @taraweraultratrail 100k and returns to States as a legitimate podium contender.
