We’re taking your guesses (but first) 🗳️⬇️ Within the last few days, Kindia has done an amazing job of calmly separating from #TZTinyTank 🍼🦛 Moments like these may look small, but they’re an important part of the care we provide every day here at your Toronto Zoo. Cooperative care is built through patience, positive reinforcement and choice, helping the animals in our care feel comfortable and confident participating in their own health and well-being. At the heart of it all is trust. Building strong relationships is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a Guardian of Wild, but it also allows important aspects of their care like this to be positive and low-stress for everyone involved. And judging by that eager little face, someone may already be taking notes from Mom! A little trust certainly does go a long way ❤️ We want to hear from you!
