A former cop allegedly planned to shoot up a Black music festival and walked free with no charges. Christopher Gillum was arrested in Florida this spring with a gun and 200 rounds of ammunition, after his own cousin reported he talked about wanting to "kill a Black person" and may have been headed to New Orleans' Jazz Fest. He was extradited to Louisiana and held without bond. In June, a grand jury declined to indict him. He's now free, facing no charges at all, and his home state wasn't even told he was released.
