My school has 2 big traditions that we follow EVERY YEAR before the first day of school to welcome students and their families into our classrooms! First is Welcome Walk where we visit our students at their houses to let them know that we will be their teacher for the year and drop off some important papers and information they will need before the first day of school. Second is Howdy where our students come and visit school to see our classroom and drop off their school supplies so it’s ready for them on the first day of school.
