Karnataka is looking to give entrepreneurs an added push to create jobs in the state’s backward districts.
Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar said entrepreneurs would receive a ₹2,500 monthly incentive for every new job created in these districts — an effort aimed at encouraging employment generation and entrepreneurship beyond the state’s major urban centres.
