3…2…1… and that’s how we concluded the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Program! The celebration was almost as impressive as the program results. More than 140 middle and high-school students helped with classes, camps and programs, ensuring our patrons had an enjoyable experience. From Junior Lifeguards and camp counselors to Summer Reading and Tempe Time Machine program assistants, these tweens and teens contributed 6,864 service hours! To thank them, we celebrated with a fun-filled afternoon of bowling, laser tag, rides, arcade games, food and more. Recruitment for the 2027 Summer Youth Volunteer Program will open in March 2027.
