Republic Act No. 11472 will increase the bed capacity of the Caraga Regional Hospital in Surigao City from 150 to 500 beds, while Republic Act No. 11473 shall upgrade the Talisay District Hospital in Cebu into a medical center to be named as the Cebu South Medical Center. Meanwhile, Republic Act No. 11474 will upgrade the Maria L. Eleazar District Hospital in Tagkawayan, Quezon, into a Level III general hospital, which will be known as the Maria L.
