Lifelong Staten Island resident Steven Olson lived in Great Kills with his wife, Patricia, and their two daughters. He spent free time listening to the music of the Rolling Stones, reading, and working on crossword puzzles. A firefighter since 1991, Olson spent his entire FDNY career at Ladder Company 3. On 9/11, Firefighter Olson responded to the towers with his company. He was 38 years old. Today we placed a white rose at his name on the #911Memorial to mark his 63rd birthday. #NeverForget911
