Grantee Spotlight: Sims-Fayola Foundation
Sims-Fayola Foundation is creating culturally affirming spaces where boys and young men of color can heal, grow, and thrive. Through mentorship, social-emotional learning, and trauma-informed support, the organization helps participants build resilience, strengthen their sense of identity, and develop the skills to navigate life's challenges.
With support from Caring for Denver, the Sims-Fayola Empowerment Zone (SFEZ) combines mentoring, licensed therapy, substance use screening, restorative practices, and family engagement into a holistic model of care.
