I will never forget this setup.
That morning, I knew in my heart that my mom was going to die that day. And somehow, I still had to walk away from her to complete this setup.
I showed up physically, but emotionally I was shattered. My mind was foggy. My heart was broken. I was trying to create something beautiful while experiencing one of the most painful moments of my life.
Looking back at this setup, I don’t just see balloons. I see a version of me who was hurting beyond words and still showed up to honor a commitment.
My mom passed away that day.
This setup will forever remind me that sometimes you never know what someone is carrying while they’re still showing up, smiling, working, creating, and doing what needs to be done.
Be kind to people. You truly never know what they had to walk away from just to show up. 🤍
