Anyone who knows The Tragically Hip knows Bathouse and Billy Ray: the band’s iconic recording studio and even more iconic Technical Director (although in Liz’s opinion, that title doesn’t begin to cover Billy Ray’s work with The Hip)
Select pieces from Bathouse including the mic Gord Downie sang into at The Tragically Hip’s last show are on display now at Visit Kingston City Hall. The Music From Miles Around is free, year-long exhibition that explores Kingston’s rich and far-reaching music history. It’s a must-stop destination for fans of The Hip and from August 20-23 the exhibit has extended hours, so if you’re travelling to Kingston this weekend for the anniversary and rebroadcast of the final concert make sure to stop in.
More from our time at Bathouse dropping all day right here. All week long we are going back in time to unearth the stories and memories of The Tragically Hip’s final concert that took place 10 years ago this week. Stay tuned for new clips everyday right here befo...
