After trying for 2 weeks to get a reservation at @bungalowny NYC by Chef Vikas Khanna, I finally decided to walk in. I arrived around 4 PM and even the bar seats were already packed. They asked me to wait about 1.5 hours, but the beautiful waiting area and drinks made it worth it. The ambience is elegant, intimate and beautifully designed, combining modern NYC sophistication with the warmth and richness of Indian culture. Chef Vikas Khanna also personally comes out to meet guests, which made the experience even more special. I ordered Yoghurt Kebab, Spice Roasted Pineapple, Daal Bungalow, Rice, Mint Lacha Paratha and Rose Kulfi Falooda. Total bill: $330.
