A quick trip outside Boston, and a little walk down memory lane ❤️ I grew up in Cohasset, the next town over from Hingham, and Bare Cove Park was one of the places I'd bring Rex and Cece to walk years ago. So, of course, it felt only right to bring Sully and Róisín since we were back home. Bare Cove is more than just a pretty place to walk. The 484-acre park sits along the Weymouth Back River and was once part of the Hingham Naval Ammunition Depot. The U.S. Navy acquired the land in the early 1900s because of its easy access to Boston Harbor, and the former depot included more than 200 buildings along with its own network of roads and railroad tracks. The land was eventually transferred to the Town of Hingham for public recreation in 1972. Today, those old roads and trails wind through woods, wetlands, open fields and along the river, making it a great place to walk, run, bike or just explore, whether you have a dog with you or not. **Dog-friendly note: Dogs are welcome, but if...
