Three crashes — two in Suffolk, one in Nassau — claimed the lives of two people, with a third seriously injured, police said. Police said an e-scooter operator was killed in an early evening collision in Glen Cove, while a motorcyclist was seriously injured when he crashed his dirt bike into the back of a vehicle stopped in traffic about two hours later in Bay Shore.
