300 SHOTS. THREE GAME-READY RELEASES. ONE STANDARD: QUALITY.
A powerful shot means little if it takes too long to release. This structured home routine develops the mechanics players need to receive, reposition and shoot before the lane disappears.
THE 300-SHOT SYSTEM:
01 — 100 Snapshots
Compact load. Strong hand separation. Fast release.
02 — 100 Two-Contact Releases
Receive with control. Move into the shooting window. Fire on the second contact.
03 — 100 Change-the-Angle Shots
Sell the original lane. Move the puck. Attack the opening.
Complete each block as 4 sets of 25:
• 20 game-speed repetitions
• 5 maximum-power repetitions
• 60–90 seconds rest between sets
The objective is not simply to collect shots. Every repetition should reinforce balance, clean mechanics, a fast release and control through the target.
QUALITY → SPEED → VOLUME
This is advanced shooting volume. Scale the workload to the player’s age, training history and current capacity. Stop when technique decline...
