The Commodores controlled the match nearly wire to wire, leading for 77 minutes and putting all eight of their shots on frame in a clinical attacking display. Courtney Jones got the Commodores rolling with a long-range strike to cap a flowing team move, with Melania Fullerton and Sydney Watts picking up the assists.
