August 12, 2026 Oklahoma opened its 31st season of soccer in record-breaking fashion, routing Northwestern State 9-0 behind a historic performance from Kayla Keefer that shattered multiple program marks. The onslaught started almost immediately. Keefer scored in the fourth minute, then again in the eighth, and completed her hat trick in under 12 minutes, the fastest hat trick in Oklahoma soccer history. She was not finished, adding a fourth goal in the 58th minute to become the first Sooner ever to score four goals in a single match.
