Bryce Young authored one of the most electric individual performances in SEC Championship Game history, throwing for 421 yards and three touchdowns while adding 40 rushing yards and a rushing score as third-ranked Alabama stunned top-ranked and previously undefeated Georgia 41 to 24, a result that flipped the script on a season Georgia had dominated to that point.
The game turned into a rout almost as soon as it began. Young set an SEC Championship Game record for first-half passing yards with 286, igniting the explosion with a 67-yard touchdown pass to Jameson Williams, the longest play Georgia had allowed all season.
