A Boston judge has provisionally approved the class-action settlement, which covers 47 family members whose relatives donated their remains between January 1, 2018, and March 31, 2023. ______________________________ The remains were allegedly stolen and sold on the black market by #CedricLodge, a former Harvard morgue manager. After his 2023 arrest, Harvard reviewed federal investigative records to determine which donors may have been affected, but the university acknowledged that it cannot identify every donor whose remains were stolen. ______________________________ Lodge was sentenced to eight years in prison for his role in the scheme.
