The Sandman says Batista was a mid-level worker who would have been better suited to hardcore matches. Speaking on The Sandman Podcast while reviewing the June 2006 ECW Arena show recently released by WWE Vault, the ECW original gave his assessment of the former World Heavyweight Champion. “Batista probably would have been way better in a hardcore situation than a regular match,” The Sandman said. “Everybody knows he was a mid-level worker.” He acknowledged what Batista had beyond the ring work: “But he had it. He used it.” Host Brian W.
