Shane Bigelow says there were plans to pair Bam Bam Bigelow with Bruiser Brody. Speaking on Stu’s Wrestling Podcast, the son of Bam Bam Bigelow said a young Paul Heyman put on a show to showcase his father at Studio 54, from Heyman’s days taking photos and writing for magazines. “They wanted to try to pair them up, and that would have been something else,” Shane said, adding the team probably would have happened in Japan. The plans ended with Brody’s death in 1988. Shane documented his father traveling to Japan more than 80 times, and said a fan recently sent him footage of Andre the Giant’s final match in Mexico, a six-man tag featuring his father. “He almost choked my father out of the business in the beginning,” Shane said of Andre. He also said the unaired 1993 promo of his father setting a photo of Bret Hart on fire has been surfacing online, and he remembers his father practicing the flash paper trick in the living room. #BamBamBigelow #PaulHeyman #BruiserBrody
