On this day in 2014, Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of SummerSlam at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Lesnar hit 16 German suplexes and an F5 in a one-sided match that gave Cena almost no offense, and the phrase Suplex City came out of it. #WWE #OTD #BrockLesnar #SummerSlam
